Generate a Tutorial

What it creates: A step-by-step guide with clear instructions, prerequisites, and expected outcomes.

  • You’ve worked through a process with the AIs and want to document it for others
  • You need to teach someone how to do something specific
  • You’re creating onboarding material or internal documentation
  • You want to turn a problem-solving conversation into reusable instructions

Step 1: Create a focused project Create a new project with a descriptive name and add custom instructions:

Step 2: Send your research question Frame it as a specific question, not a broad topic:
  • Good: “What evidence exists for the 4-day work week improving retention in tech companies?”
  • Bad: “Tell me about 4-day work weeks”
Let all 5 AIs respond. Note which perspectives are most interesting. Checkpoint: You should see 5 responses, each building on the previous. Step 3: Deepen with targeted follow-ups Pick the 2-3 most interesting angles and dig deeper:

Tips for Best Results

  • The best tutorials come from conversations where you actually worked through something
  • Include the mistakes and troubleshooting from your conversation - readers will hit the same issues
  • Ask the AIs to explain steps in simpler terms if the topic is technical
  • Generate after you’ve solved the problem completely - incomplete conversations produce incomplete tutorials
  • Add screenshots or visual references when you publish (the generated text will indicate where they should go)
