The Prompt Adjutant: Your Prompt Engineer
Quick Answer: Dump your messy, stream-of-consciousness thoughts into the Adjutant. It gives you back a polished, structured prompt that gets dramatically better responses from the AIs.
What You’ll Learn
- What the Prompt Adjutant does
- How it improves your results
- How to access and use it
- The before/after difference
The Problem It Solves
Good AI responses require good prompts. But most people:- Write vague, incomplete questions
- Forget to include important context
- Don’t structure their requests for clarity
- Miss the details that would get a better answer
What It Does
The Prompt Adjutant takes your rough, unstructured thoughts and transforms them into an optimized prompt. It:- Clarifies your intent - Identifies what you’re actually asking
- Adds structure - Organizes the question logically
- Fills gaps - Adds relevant dimensions you might have missed
- Sets constraints - Specifies format, depth, and scope
- Optimizes for multi-AI - Structures the prompt to get the best from all 5 AIs
Two Ways to Use It
Option A: Write Your Own Thoughts (Manual)
- Open the Adjutant - Find it in the interface. It’s a separate input area from the main chat.
- Dump your thoughts - Write whatever’s in your head. Don’t worry about structure, grammar, or completeness. Stream of consciousness is fine.
- Get your optimized prompt - The Adjutant returns a structured, clear prompt:
- Send to main chat - Review the optimized prompt. If it captures what you want, send it to the main chat. All 5 AIs respond to this clearer, more structured question.
Option B: Auto-Generated Prompts
The Adjutant can also generate optimized prompts automatically based on your project context and conversation history. Instead of writing your thoughts manually, the system suggests a ready-to-use prompt tailored to your current work. This is useful when you’re not sure where to start or want inspiration for the next question to ask.The Refine Panel
After the Adjutant generates an optimized prompt, you can fine-tune it before sending. The Refine panel lets you adjust the prompt without starting over:- Edit sections of the generated prompt directly
- Adjust scope - broaden or narrow what you’re asking
- Change format - switch the requested output format
- Add constraints - include budget, timeline, or audience details you forgot
The Before/After Difference
| Your raw input | Adjutant output |
|---|---|
| ”help with marketing budget" | "Allocate a $50K quarterly marketing budget across channels for a B2B SaaS targeting mid-market. Prioritize channels by CAC and time-to-result." |
| "our team is slow" | "Diagnose productivity bottlenecks for a 12-person engineering team shipping bi-weekly. Consider: process overhead, context switching, technical debt, and tooling gaps." |
| "need a landing page" | "Design a landing page structure for [product] targeting [audience]. Include: hero section messaging, social proof strategy, feature presentation, objection handling, and CTA placement.” |
Tips
- You don’t need to use the Adjutant for every message. It’s most valuable for complex or high-stakes questions.
- The Adjutant doesn’t change your intent - it clarifies and structures it.
- You can edit the optimized prompt before sending. It’s a starting point, not a final answer.
- If the Adjutant’s output doesn’t match what you meant, refine your raw input and try again.
