What Is Live Synthesis?

The Scribe Panel sits in your right sidebar and observes your conversation. As the AIs respond and you send follow-ups, the Scribe automatically identifies and surfaces:
  • Key Decisions - When something gets decided or agreed upon
  • Insights - Novel observations or conclusions from the AIs
  • Action Items - Things that need to happen next
  • Themes - Recurring topics or patterns across responses
  • Disagreements - When AIs diverge on an answer
Think of it as having a dedicated note-taker who highlights what matters.

How It Updates

The Scribe updates incrementally:
  1. After each AI response - New insights are extracted
  2. After your follow-ups - Decisions and direction changes are noted
  3. Across rounds - Themes are identified as patterns emerge
  4. On disagreements - Conflicting viewpoints are flagged
You don’t need to do anything. The Scribe works automatically in the background.

Tips

  • The Scribe doesn’t interrupt your conversation - it works silently in the sidebar
  • You can collapse the Scribe panel if you want more screen space for the chat
  • For long conversations, the Scribe becomes essential - it tracks things you’d otherwise forget
  • Use the Scribe’s output to decide which document type to generate
  • If the Scribe missed something important, it might mean the AIs didn’t emphasize it enough - ask a follow-up
