Document Intelligence analyzes your entire set together. Upload contracts, reports, proposals, or any collection of files. The system reads each one, then cross-references them against each other. It finds connections, conflicts, gaps, and dependencies that you'd miss reviewing files individually. The output is a structured report called **the Brief**. Once the Brief exists, all 5 AIs share a deep understanding of your documents. You don't need to summarize anything yourself. *** ## How It Works ### 1. Upload your files Drag and drop files into the chat, or use the file attachment menu. There's no special mode to activate - just upload and send your message. **Supported formats:** PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, TXT, MD, CSV, JSON ### 2. Automatic extraction Binary files (PDF, DOCX, etc.) are converted to clean text. Your documents are processed on Suprmind's own servers - not sent to any third-party extraction service. ### 3. The system decides the best approach * **Smaller uploads** go into the project knowledge base, searchable by AI in future turns. * **Larger uploads** (roughly 25+ pages of content) trigger the full intelligence analysis. The system recognizes that simple search isn't enough and deeper analysis is needed. ### 4. Two-stage analysis When the full analysis activates, you'll see a progress indicator in the chat. **Stage 1 - Document Extraction:** Each document is analyzed individually. For every document, the system identifies: * Document type and parties involved * Key dates, terms, and thresholds * Structural map (sections, clauses) * Notable or unusual passages * A detailed factual summary **Stage 2 - Cross-Document Analysis:** A second pass reads all the Stage 1 results and looks across your entire document set for: * **Conflicts** - contradictory terms, dates, or figures between documents * **Dependencies** - documents that reference, amend, or supersede each other * **Gaps** - referenced documents or exhibits that weren't included in your upload * **Entity registry** - every person, company, or organization and where they appear * **Risk flags** - unusual clauses, missing protections, or contradictory obligations ### 5. The Brief is ready From this point forward, every AI in your session reads the Brief instead of the raw documents. This means: * **All 5 AIs understand your documents deeply.** Ask Claude for legal analysis, GPT for financial implications, Gemini for a summary - they all have the same foundation. * **Ask follow-up questions naturally.** "What are the conflicts between the lease agreement and the amendment?" - the AI already knows. * **Add more documents later.** Upload additional files in a follow-up message and the Brief updates automatically, preserving the analysis of previous documents. *** ## What Makes This Different **It's automatic.** No special commands or configuration. Upload documents, ask questions, get intelligent answers. **It's cross-document.** The real value is finding connections, conflicts, and gaps across your entire document set - not just summarizing individual files. **All models benefit.** Whether you're using Sequential mode, Debate, Super Mind, or targeted @mentions, every AI has the same deep understanding. *** ## Best Practices **Upload everything related to your question at once.** The cross-referencing analysis is most valuable when it can see the full picture - the contract and the amendment, the report and the appendix, the proposal and the counter-proposal. **Ask specific questions after the Brief is ready.** Instead of "summarize these documents," try: * "Are there any conflicting terms between the service agreement and the NDA?" * "Which documents reference deadlines in Q3, and are any of those deadlines inconsistent?" * "What obligations does Party A have across all three contracts?" * "Are there any referenced exhibits or attachments that I haven't uploaded?" **Use different modes for different perspectives.** After uploading, try Debate mode to have AIs argue different interpretations of a clause, or Super Mind to get a unified analysis from all 5 AIs at once. **Add documents incrementally if needed.** Uploaded two contracts and realized you need the amendment? Upload it in a follow-up message. The Brief will update to include the new document while keeping the existing analysis. *** ## Availability Document Intelligence is available on **Pro, Frontier, Power, and Enterprise** plans. The depth of analysis scales with your plan - Frontier, Power, and Enterprise use more powerful reasoning for both stages. *** ## Tips * The progress indicator in chat shows you exactly where the analysis is. Give it time - a thorough analysis of 10+ documents takes 30-45 seconds. * You can keep chatting while the analysis runs. Once the Brief is ready, the AIs switch to using it automatically. * For very large document sets, the system will show a token impact banner so you know how much context each file adds. * The Brief gets better with more documents. A single file gets a summary.
