## The Golden Rules

### 1. First Message: Be Specific

Vague questions produce vague answers. Specific questions produce actionable insights.

### 2. Let the Full Sequence Run

Don't interrupt the first round. All 5 AIs responding gives you:

* Five different angles you might not have considered
* Natural fact-checking between responses
* A complete picture before you narrow down

### 3. Follow Up on What's Interesting

After the first round, pick the 1-2 most interesting points and dig deeper:

### 4. Generate Documents at Peak Value

Don't wait for a "perfect" endpoint. Generate a Master Document when:

* You have a clear answer

6. **Iterate** - Continue or start a new thread within the same project

## Common Mistakes

### Too broad, too early

**Mistake:** "Tell me everything about AI"
**Fix:** "What are the top 3 AI applications in manufacturing that have ROI data?"

### Interrupting too fast

**Mistake:** Stopping after Grok's response because it looks good
**Fix:** Let all 5 respond first. The later AIs often add unexpected value.

### Not following up

**Mistake:** Asking one question, reading responses, leaving
**Fix:** Round 2 and 3 are where the real value lives. Push back, dig in.

### Ignoring disagreements

**Mistake:** Skipping over when AIs disagree
**Fix:** Disagreements are gold. Ask: "You two disagree on X. Explain why and which position is stronger."

### Same question, different conversation

**Mistake:** Starting a new conversation to ask a follow-up
**Fix:** Stay in the same conversation. Context accumulates and makes responses better.

### Not using @mentions after round 1

**Mistake:** Sending every follow-up to all 5 AIs
**Fix:** After the first round, target specific AIs for specific follow-ups. Faster and more focused.

## Conversation Length Sweet Spots

After 6-7 rounds, you usually have more value in the conversation than you can hold in your head. That's when Master Documents become essential - they synthesize everything into a structured output.

## Tips

* Start each session by reviewing your project description and custom instructions. Are they still accurate?
* If responses feel generic, add more context: your industry, company size, constraints, what you've already tried.
* Use "what if" questions to explore alternatives: "What if we had half the budget?" or "What if we needed to launch in 2 weeks?"
* When all AIs agree, that's usually a strong signal. When they disagree, you've found an interesting tension worth exploring.
* Save your best conversations by generating Master Documents. Good discussions are worth preserving.
* Turn **auto-follow** off when you want to re-read an earlier response while later AIs are still streaming. Use the **Jump to Latest** button to catch up.
* Adjust **streaming speed** in settings if you prefer faster or slower text rendering during responses.
